Payroll is one of the business areas within scope for the Enterprise Project. Below are a few questions related to Payroll decisions and changes.
With regard to time clocks, does moving to a single time clock vendor mean all employees will be required to start using a time clock, or if one is used currently, it will switch to this?
Only university employees who currently use a physical time clock will be required to switch to a new time clock. If you currently enter time using eTimesheet, you will be enter time in Workday in the future.
Will the Health System be switching from Kronos to Workday for time keeping?
No, Health System employees will continue to use Kronos for time keeping.
Will I still have the same payroll self-service capabilities that I have available to me today?
You will still be able to view your paychecks online, update your direct deposit information and fill out any applicable tax withholding forms (e.g. Form W-4).
